Joshua Shane Horton, Esq. is a lawyer, author, consultant, speaker, and serial entrepreneur — but his story didn’t begin in a courtroom.
A 27-time incarcerated and convicted criminal, high school dropout, and survivor of addiction, childhood trauma, PTSD, and homelessness, Joshua once appeared destined to become another statistic. Instead, he transformed his darkest chapters into the foundation of an improbable rise — from jail cells in Atlanta and rural Mississippi to the courtrooms of South Florida as a nationally recognized attorney.
Today, Joshua is the founder of Legal Rebels Law, a mission-driven firm dedicated to “giving a voice to the voiceless” and fearlessly confronting powerful adversaries in high-stakes litigation. His work spans consumer protection, sober home abuse, fintech lending fraud, wrongful death, and corporate misconduct — often targeting some of the most predatory actors in America’s financial and healthcare systems.
